The National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) is exclusively comprised of lawyers who represent individual employees in cases involving employment discrimination and other employment-related matters. NELA advances employee rights and serves lawyers who advocate for equality and justice in the workplace.
NELA and its 68 state and local affiliates have more than 3000 members. Regular Member of NELA is any member of the bar in the United States who subscribes to NELA’s purposes and certifies that 51% or more of her/his employment-related legal representation is on behalf of employees. Only Regular Members in good standing are eligible to serve on and vote for NELA’s Executive Board and be listed in the NELA Membership Directory.
