National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys

National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) was formed in 1992.

NACBA serves the needs of consumer bankruptcy attorneys and works towards protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy.  NACBA provides comprehensive educational programs for consumer bankruptcy attorneys with its annual conventions and workshops.

NACBA membership provides both professional development and personal satisfaction. NACBA members can take advantage of the Annual Convention and get over thirteen hours of CLE in just one seminar.  Solo practitioners can use the NACBA listserve for assistance.  The members are eligible to receive free access to Fastcase’s bankruptcy database.  NACBA membership provides the ability to pose bankruptcy questions and get real time responses from their colleagues around the country.  NACBA Listserv participants enjoy the unparalleled ability to post both the easy and hard questions to some of the best consumer bankruptcy attorneys in the nation.  NACBA members are provided up to date professional information, great discounts on law related products.

NACBA is recognized by members of Congress and their staffs, by the media and by the judicial branch of government.  The Association and its members frequently are called upon to testify before legislative and judicial bodies and share their expertise.  NACBA is also the leading force against the anti-debtor legislation in Congress that the consumer credit industry has sought so aggressively.
