National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is the oldest non-partisan professional organization for public officials. NASS consists of members from all the fifty states of the U.S., the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam and Virgin Islands.
NASS was found in the year 1904. It serves as a platform for the exchange of information and promotes cooperation between states governments in developing the public policy.
NASS has key initiatives in the areas of elections and voting, state business services, electronic government and digital archiving.
